About Peace Transitional Home ...caring for the future

Peace Transitional Home (PETH) is an Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) officially registered by number. MIA/NB/2013/11/3391 and also operates an approved Children's Home filo. No MGLDS/AC/159.

PETH was founded in July 2013 by Aida Nkinzi (current CEO) after having worked for 6 years in an orphanage as a social worker. Prompted by her love for children, she heeded to the call from God to serve vulnerable children.

Objectives of PETH

To provide shelter, medical care, education, food and clothing for children and young people.
To raise and nurture these children with parental love and care in harmony with the biblical and Christian principles of love and compassion.
To facilitate and support these children to be placed in the care of Foster parents and properly adopted.
To empowering families to support their children.
To train, educate and enable these children to have good knowledge, values and craft skills.

Ensuring the appropriate welfare and education of disadvantaged children.

Our Mission

Accepting, acknowledging, collecting, supporting, caring for and providing for the needs of abandoned, rejected, trapped or stranded, abused and destitute children in any part of Uganda.

Our Goal

PETH aims to serve children in various forms such as orphans, abandoned, abused and destitute by supporting vulnerable families with the aim of creating better family in which children can thrive.
